United Kingdom Regional Terms and Rules

Effective date: 7 August 2026

This Schedule applies to England and Wales. It does not apply to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

If this Schedule conflicts with the Combined Terms, this Schedule controls United Kingdom-specific matters. Mandatory law and non-excludable consumer rights always take priority.

1. United Kingdom contracting entity and scope

United Kingdom services and orders are supplied by:

CAMTECH INNOVATIONS LTD

Company number: 07062319

Registered office: Westwick Hall Westwick, Oakington, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England CB24 3AR

Privacy contact: info@camtechhealth.com

2. United Kingdom customers and eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally able to enter into a contract, unless a service-specific process permits use by a parent or legal guardian and applicable law allows it.

A consumer is an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside that individual’s business. A business user is a person or organisation contracting wholly or mainly for business purposes. Business-user terms do not reduce mandatory consumer protections.

You must provide accurate identity, delivery, order and sample information. You must have the required authority and consent when ordering for or submitting a sample from another person.

3. Pre-contract information, orders, price and payment

Before you submit an order as a consumer, Camtech provides the required information about the seller, product or service, main characteristics, total price, taxes, delivery charges, payment, delivery arrangements, cancellation rights, returns, complaints and any material restrictions or exceptions.

An order is an offer to purchase. No contract is formed until the United Kingdom seller sends an order-confirmation message stating that the order is accepted.

The United Kingdom seller may refuse, cancel or limit an order for a legitimate reason, including lack of stock, an obvious pricing error, unsupported delivery, suspected fraud, payment failure, ineligibility, a regulatory restriction or an inability to provide the product safely or lawfully. Any resulting consumer remedy complies with applicable law.

Prices and mandatory charges are presented clearly. Camtech does not add unavoidable charges late in the purchase journey and does not describe a product, service, result or approval inaccurately.

4. United Kingdom consumer rights, cancellation and returns

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable United Kingdom consumer law may imply rights relating to the quality, description, fitness, delivery and conformity of goods, digital content and services. Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 or another applicable rule provides a cancellation or cooling-off right, Camtech gives you the required information, time limit, method and refund process before purchase.

A lawful exception may apply to goods that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and become unsuitable for return once unsealed, or to a product that has been used, contaminated, damaged or expired. Camtech discloses any such exception before purchase.

If a service begins before the end of a cancellation period at your request, Camtech provides the required information and obtains any required express request or acknowledgement. Digital content supplied before the end of a cancellation period is subject to the applicable consent and acknowledgement process.

5. Testing, samples and healthcare services in the United Kingdom

Camtech offers products and tests in the United Kingdom only where the applicable product, label, instructions, claims, distribution route and regulatory status have been confirmed and the relevant United Kingdom product and medical-device requirements are met.

You must follow the supplied instructions for activation, collection, labelling, storage, packaging and sample return. A sample may be rejected or unprocessable if it is insufficient, contaminated, incorrectly collected or labelled, delayed, damaged, expired or otherwise unsuitable.

A wellness, screening, genetic or self-test result does not diagnose, rule out, prevent or treat a medical condition unless the approved product information expressly says otherwise. Results may require confirmation or interpretation by a qualified healthcare professional and are not emergency services.

Where Camtech facilitates a teleconsultation or other healthcare service, the provider’s identity, professional status, clinical responsibility, complaints process, rescheduling and cancellation rules, payment flow and data-sharing arrangements are set out in service-specific terms.

Artificial-intelligence-assisted outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and must not be the sole basis for a medical, employment, insurance, legal or other significant decision.

6. United Kingdom privacy and data protection

Camtech handles personal, health, genetic, biometric, image, account, sample and order information in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and any applicable later amendments.

The Privacy Policy identifies the responsible organisation, purposes, lawful bases, relevant special-category conditions where applicable, disclosures, retention, security, international transfers, individual rights, complaint route and contact details, and is provided at the required time in clear, accessible language. Camtech Health Privacy Policy.

Accepting these Terms does not replace any consent, notice or other legal basis required for testing, sample analysis, healthcare, artificial-intelligence features or processing of health and genetic information.

7. Fairness, transparency and liability in the United Kingdom

Consumer terms are fair, transparent and prominent. An unfair consumer term does not bind the consumer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, faulty or misdescribed products, poor services or mandatory consumer rights.

For consumers, Camtech is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of Camtech’s breach or failure to use the standard of care required by law. Camtech is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, were caused by your misuse or failure to follow instructions, or resulted solely from an independent third party, subject to applicable law.

7.1 Business users

If you use the services wholly or mainly for business purposes, then to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Camtech is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss;
  • Camtech is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, opportunity or data; and
  • Camtech’s total liability relating to a relevant service will not exceed the fees paid by the business for that service during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a different lawful cap is stated in a separate business agreement.

7.2 Customer responsibility and indemnity

A business user must indemnify and hold Camtech, its group companies, officers, employees and service providers harmless from third-party claims, losses, costs and expenses arising directly from the business user’s unlawful or infringing content, breach of these Terms, misuse of the services or violation of another person’s rights.

This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Camtech’s own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct. It does not apply to consumers except to the extent permitted by applicable law and considered fair and reasonable.

8. Complaints and disputes

For platform complaints, account support, purchase questions or refund requests, contact info@camtechhealth.com. Clinical complaints follow the applicable healthcare-provider process; Camtech is responsible for its own platform and customer-service obligations.

The laws of England and Wales apply, subject to mandatory consumer rights and any local rights or courts that cannot legally be excluded. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to the maximum extent permitted by law.

A consumer may retain any right to bring proceedings in the consumer’s home court or use another mandatory complaint, regulator or dispute-resolution route.
